CULLMAN, Ala. – United Way of Cullman County is seeking sponsors for its largest annual fundraiser, Designer Bag Bingo, set for Thursday, Nov. 12.
The 2026 event will bring hundreds of community members together for an evening of bingo and opportunities to win designer handbags while raising money for United Way programs and partner agencies serving Cullman and Winston counties.
United Way currently supports 18 local programs and partner agencies, with its work focused on areas including healthy communities, youth opportunities, financial security and community resiliency.
The organization said sponsorships allow businesses to support those efforts while receiving recognition through event promotions.
“When you become a sponsor, you’re not just putting your logo in front of a packed room – you are investing in programs that strengthen lives across our community every single day,” United Way shared.
The event’s $5,000 Presenting Sponsor level has already been claimed by Listerhill Credit Union.
Two additional sponsorship levels are currently available.
The $2,500 LIVE Sponsor level includes prominent recognition across United Way’s social media, website and event promotions, complimentary Pepsi products during the event and a reserved table for eight with preferred seating.
The $1,250 UNITED Sponsor level includes prominent recognition across social media, the organization’s website and event promotions, along with a reserved table for eight with preferred seating.
United Way said sponsorship opportunities are limited and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Businesses interested in reserving a sponsorship can contact United Way at director@uwaycc.org.
Designer Bag Bingo has grown into one of United Way’s most successful community events. The 2025 fundraiser drew 610 bingo players and approximately 80 volunteers to Cotton Creek Warehouse and raised more than $55,000.
Additional information for attendees, including the venue and individual ticket sales, has not yet been posted.
