CULLMAN, Ala. — Cullman Regional welcomed physiatrist Nandan Patel, MD, to the Cullman Regional Medical Group.
Patel earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Brookwood Baptist Health and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center.
Throughout his medical training, Patel earned recognition for his commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. His honors include the 2022 Outstanding Medical Student in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Award, the 2024 UAB Care Award for Outstanding Patient Care and the 2025–2026 Matthew T. Smith, M.D. Humanism in Medicine Award.
Patel provides the following treatments, care and services:
