CLANTON – Monday, 125 pm, June 22, 2026
Clusters or broken line segments extend from central Mississippi to northwestern Alabama as of 1 pm. These storms will move east-southeastward through early Tuesday morning.
The main threats will be damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall. Any flooding should be short-lived as the storms are moving quickly. In addition, a couple of tornadoes are still possible north of I-20. The storms will begin weakening once they reach a Livingston – Montgomery – Auburn line. It is unclear where right now if the current watch will need to be extended southward later this afternoon or early evening.
Again, as a reminder, sub-severe winds could still down trees due to saturated soil conditions.
