Johnny Paul Lipsey, age 83 of Cullman, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at University of Alabama Hospital. He was born October 15, 1942, to Clifford G. Lipsey and Mary Madeline Frazier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Betty McGhee, Nelene McCollum and Diane Harris; brothers, Truman Lipsey and brother, Jimmy Lipsey.
Survivors include his daughters, Justina (Justin) Tyus, Jessica Milburn; step-daughter, Shelley (Elliott) Bennett; step-son, Rickey Harris; grandchildren, Courtney (Matt) Goble, Justin (Taylor) Woljevack, Haley (Forrest) Bryant, Nathan (Cheyenne) Milburn, Ayden Tyus, Mason Tyus, Corbin Tyus, Abigail Brady; great grandchildren, Bella Gibson, Everett John Wells, Eloise and Maxine Woljevack, Silas, Thomas and Noah Bryant, Josie and Elijah Milburn, Emerson and Jackson Tyus; brothers, Charles (Darlene) Lipsey, David (Mary) Lipsey and Bobby (Connie) Lipsey and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A memorial will be at a later date.
