CULLMAN, Ala. – Karmas’ Coffee House, in collaboration with The Velvet Page, will host a pop-up book bar event Saturday, June 13, from 2-4 p.m.  

Karma’s Owner Katie Fine said one of her favorite things about hosting pop-ups at Karma’s is seeing local entrepreneurs share something they’ve poured their hearts into creating.  

“Supporting these small businesses isn’t just about selling products — it’s about encouraging dreams, fostering community and helping our local economy thrive,” she said. “Ema is incredibly passionate about all things books. She’s going to bring blind dates with a book, new releases, BookTok books, bookish gifts and a lot of other reader goodies.” 

The Velvet Page Owner/Founder Ema Sargent said she is excited to partner with Karma’s and connect with fellow book lovers in the community. 

“The Velvet Page will be bringing a curated selection of new books in a variety of genres, also popular blind date with a book options,” she said. “The pop-up is designed to create a fun, welcoming experience where readers can browse, discover their next favorite book while being with fellow readers and connect over a coffee and books.” 

Karma’s Coffee House is located at 103 First Ave. NE Suite 140, Cullman.
