HANCEVILLE — Wallace State women’s tennis placed three entries in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Junior College National Rankings, which were released May 28 following the conclusion of the 2026 season.

The Lady Lions were represented in both the singles and doubles rankings after another successful season competing in the Alabama Community College Conference.

Madison Standifer earned the highest national ranking among Wallace State players, finishing No. 16 in the final ITA Junior College Women’s Singles Rankings.

Standifer also teamed with Indira Wilson to earn a national doubles ranking. The duo finished the season ranked No. 12 in the final ITA Junior College Women’s Doubles Rankings.

Jaedyn Martin also appeared in the final singles rankings, finishing No. 44 nationally.

The final rankings recognized players and teams from across the NJCAA and junior college ranks and were released following the completion of the national championship season.

The rankings provide national recognition for a Wallace State women’s tennis program that continued to compete among the top teams in the region while placing multiple athletes among the nation’s ranked players.
