Claudette Murphree, age 84, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 18, 2026, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Claudette loved her family, her little dog Chloe and Alabama football.
She was born September 7, 1941, to Jesse Edward Turner and Susie Loucindy Phillips Brown.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Edward Turner; mother, Susie Loucindy Brown; brother, James D. Turner and sister, Susan Alley.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Murphree StJohn and Sherry Murphree Beagle; grandchildren, John Touchette, Jordan Rounds, Rachel Kutch and Adam Kutch; great grandchildren, Damon, Oliver, Isaac, and Hunter; sisters, Elaine Willingham (Dan) and Dawn Cook (Johnny) and her lifetime best friend, Patty Lombardo.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
