Funeral Service for James Dewayne Rollo, age 70 of Bremen, will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Freeman and Rev. Tommy Graves officiating; Burial will be at Macedonia Baptist Cemetery in Cold Springs. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Rollo passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Brookwood Medical Center. He was born, January 19, 1956.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rubin Rollo; sisters, Vonda Harris and Patricia Roden (Jimmy); his special loved ones Juanita and Jack Swinney.
James is survived by the love of his life and wife of fifteen years, Christie Rollo; his mother, Xann Davis Rollo; children, Jennifer Rollo (Mark), Brandon Rollo, Austin Franklin (Lexi), Shawn Franklin; grandchildren, Dakota Surrett, Nick Rollo, Breanna Rollo, Hannah Rollo Myers, Jace Henry, Eliza Henry, Brystol Franklin; a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
He served his nation proudly in the United States Army, SP4. He then worked at BFI for 17 years, followed by a twenty-seven year career with Cullman County Sanitation Department. He was a hard and dedicated worker and was loved and respected by all who worked for him and with him. He loved his family dearly and cared for others immensely. He loved Alabama football and NASCAR and he is remembered by his family and those closest to him for his great sense of humor, saying he was always the life of the party. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Serving as pallbearers are John Devencenzi, Ben Montgomery, Randall Isbell, Barry Black, Dakota Morgan, Darren Turner; honorary pallbearers are J.W., James Terry, and Crow.
