Funeral services for Donna Faye Green, 72, of Decatur, Alabama will be 12 p.m., Tuesday, May 19th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville. Rev. James Fields will be officiating services. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Donna Faye Green, a cherished mother and grandmother, died on May 16, 2026, in Decatur, Alabama. Born on November 9, 1953, in Fort Rucker, Alabama, Donna’s life was a testament to love and devotion to her family. Her family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into creating lasting memories that will endure through generations. The gentle kindness and strength she exhibited touched all who knew her, leaving a legacy of compassion and affection.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Terry (Josh); grandchildren: Luke Brown, Mason Brown, Kielynn Terry, Briceton Terry, and Bella Terry; sister, Charlotte Upton and brothers, Dennis Green and Jason Green (Jessica); niece, Kelly Upton; and nephews Wesley Upton and Heath Upton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Marie Green, and her sister Patricia Green.
Serving as pallbearers will be Luke Brown, Mason Brown, Julius Baker, Rodney Terry, Canyon Allan and Josh Terry.
