Memorial Service for Mr. Jerry Marlin Cornelius, age 84, of Addison, is Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Lipsey and Bro. Patrick Cleghorn officiating.

Jerry was born on October 24, 1941, to Marlin Cornelius and Opal Cantrell Cornelius. He passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Cornelius; brother, John Tim Cornelius; brother-in-law, Bob Cort.
He is survived by his sons, Christopher Cornelius (Tammy), and Bryan Cornelius; brothers, Don Cornelius, Ronnie Cornelius (Jennie), Robert Ken Cornelius (Glenna); sisters, Patti Hershey, Velva “Cookie” Cort, Ruby Cornelius, and Bunny Adams; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and family and friends.
Family remembers Jerry as a loving husband and father. His greatest joy in life was his family and his love talent of designing, building, and flying aircraft. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
