BAILEYTON, Ala. – Cullman County Animal Control and the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an alleged cockfighting operation in Baileyton.
Cullman County Animal Control Director Rodney Banister said they recently took over the investigation after it was reported to the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office.
“We received the complaint and opened up and investigation,” Banister said. “It is still ongoing; no arrests have been made at this time.”
Banister said the complaint came in last weekend.
The address of the alleged operation is in the 1900 block of County Road 1570 in Baileyton.
This week, WBRC in Birmingham shared drone footage of the alleged operation.
