Jeanean Carolyn Taylor, 83, of Crane Hill, Alabama, passed away on April 22, 2026. Born on February 2, 1943, Jeanean’s life was marked by a steady devotion to her home and family, and by a quiet pride in the work and care she gave to what she loved most.

Those who knew Jeanean will remember the deep satisfaction she found in her business, R&T Custom Builders, which she owned and operated for 26 years, as well as the life she built around her farm. She especially loved her cows, calling each of them by name—an everyday reflection of her attentive nature and the simple, enduring bonds she formed through faithful care.

Jeanean is survived by her son, Nathan Richardson (Cristy); her sister, Evie Edwards; and her brothers, Hendon Taylor and Ceaf Taylor. She was preceded in death by her mother, Esther Olene Calvert, and her father, Ceaf Taylor Sr.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held on Saturday May 2, 2026, at 1 p.m., at Prospect Church of Christ, where she will be laid to rest.
