Poultry Cook-off winners recognized

    CULLMAN, Ala. – Various county school students on Tuesday, April 14, met at The Venue at Cotton Creek for the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Cullman County Poultry Cook-off.   

    Students competed in two categories: Casseroles and Whole Pieces. 
      
    Casseroles winners 

    • First: Fuller Williams from Good Hope  
    • Second: Reese Gutherie from West Point  
    • Third: Macie Garmon from CATA  
    • Fourth: Haley Bullard from Good Hope  
    • Fifth: Emma Beavers from West Point 

    Whole Pieces winners 

    • First: Logan Johnson from Hanceville  
    • Second: Alex Weismore from Cold Springs  
    • Third: Lola Haynes from Fairview  
    • Fourth: Tori Williamson from Good Hope  
    • Fifth: Adalyn Sharp from Hanceville 

     
    Participating FCCLA sponsors and schools were Stephanie Blair from Cold Springs High School, Amie Veal from the Cullman Area Technology Academy, Whitney Haynes from Fairview High School, Amanda Williams from Good Hope High School, Amy Chambers from Hanceville High School, Amelia Burke from Holly Pond High School and Renee Lee from West Point High School. 

    The event was sponsored by the Alabama Farmers Federation Women’s Committee, which also provided judges.
