GOOD HOPE, Ala. – Wednesday morning was a special one for the folks at the new Dale’s location in Good Hope. After a soft opening last week, representatives from the City of Good Hope and Dale’s owner Greg Black were joined by dozens of friends, family and other members of the community to officially cut the ribbon on the new store.
Black was excited to see all the work put into building the new location come to fruition on Wednesday.
“I just want to thank the City of Good Hope. The mayor, the city council and the community have welcomed us in,” Black said. “I also want to thank my team for just working tirelessly to get this thing open. I’m proud of them and they’re proud of the store. Now we want everyone to come see it and enjoy it. We’re just proud to be part of Good Hope now.”
Good Hope Mayor Jerry Bartlett was excited to welcome the newest business addition to the community and is confident they’ll have success in the spot they’ve chosen.
“This is going to be a very busy intersection and we’re already talking about some changes we may need to get the traffic to flow better. We’re really excited to have Greg (Black) here and this is a beautiful store,” Bartlett said. “A lot of stores want to be across from big truck stops and Greg bought this a long time ago. We have 185 houses over here at the end of this road that will be coming right by this store and if they don’t want to go to Love’s they can come over. I think it’s going to do fantastic and we’re just so proud to have them.”
From now until Aug. 1, Dale’s customers will also be able to enter to win a 2025 Bass Tracker bass boat. Drawing for the boat will be Aug. 1 at 6 p.m.
The store is located at 364 County Road 222, Cullman, AL 35055.
