Romans 12:12: “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”
J.W. Chaffin was an amazing example of this quote and many more from the word of God. Throughout the seasons of his life, he never wavered on his walk with Jesus. He was an avid lover of gospel and bluegrass music, being easily named the best banjo player in the family. He could identify any vegetable and tell you how to make it thrive. He was a passionate artist and loved creating art, whether it be abstract painting or the beautiful construction projects his own company, Chaffin’s Plastering Company, was known for. Above all, his persistant positivity and love for life and learning will be greatly missed.
