Sue Jordan Rhodes, age 87, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025.
Sue was a loving mother and grandmother, known for her lifelong dedication to the students of Cullman County. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Saint Bernard College and devoted over three decades to teaching. Sue spent 30 years at West Point High School and one year at Fairview High School. In recognition of her contributions to local athletics and education, she was inducted into the Cullman County Sports Hall of Fame.
Sue is survived by her daughter, Tammy Harbison (Billy Wayne), and her grandson, Joshua Tyler Harbison.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kennon Rhodes; her parents, Claude and Doffee Jordan; and her sister, Ludy Anderson.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., with interment to take place at Cullman Memory Gardens, 1516 Bolte Road SE, Cullman, AL 35055.
