Randall James Reese, age 81, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on Sunday evening, May 25, 2025, at his residence. He was born June 5, 1943, in Cullman County, Alabama, to Troy and Emma Reese.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sherrie Reese; son, Lance (Melissa) Reese; granddaughters Laine (Aron) Moss and Loren Reese; sister, Arminda (Bill) Floyd; nieces, Kim Johnson and Lisa Parker; and nephew Keith Floyd. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda (Bill) Brock; and nephews, Ray and Lee Brock.
Randall was a committed Christian and a member of First Baptist Church of Cullman.
He was a graduate of West Point High School, class of 1961. He was a machinist tool and die maker and was employed at American Trim until retirement. Randall enjoyed sports, specifically high school and college football. He greatly enjoyed Smith Lake and all water sports and was a dedicated runner. He restored his 1956 Chevy Stepside and enjoyed taking it to show at car shows.
A celebration of Randall’s life will be held on Friday, May 30, in the chapel of Cullman Heritage Funeral Home, 255 County Rd 1435, Cullman, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. until the service at 3 p.m. Interment will be at Cullman City Cemetery.
