CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman County natives Dr. Morgan Roberts White and her husband Daniel White will open Smith Lake Veterinary Hospital in late June-early July 2025.
”We would like to formally introduce ourselves as the owners of Smith Lake Veterinary Hospital,” Dr. White said. ”I grew up on my family’s cattle farm and am a 2009 graduate of Good Hope High School. I continued my education at Auburn University where I received my bachelor’s degree in zoology in 2013 and later a Master of Science in Animal Science in 2015. I earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.”
After graduation, White, then Morgan Roberts, moved back to Cullman where she met her husband, Daniel White. She has been a veterinarian at Compton’s Veterinary Hospital.
“Daniel and I have been married for three years and have a 1-year-old son, Stetson Ross,” White said. “We also have two Australian Shepherds, Emma and Jazz; two cats, Raven and Rhetta; four horses; and cows. Together we enjoy cooking, gardening and spending time on the farm. We look forward to meeting you all soon.”
The Whites’ dogs and one cat are the faces of the new business’ logo. Smith Lake Veterinary Hospital is located at 96 Speegle Road, in Cullman, behind Sunflour Bakery off Interstate 65 Exit 305.
