Doyle, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away April 22, 2025, at the age of 96. Known for his deep love of the outdoors, his faith, and his tireless work ethic, Doyle left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Born June 19, 1928, in Huntsville, Alabama, Doyle spent his life cultivating not only the land he loved, but also strong roots in his family and community. A true outdoorsman, he found joy in gardening, spending countless hours nurturing plants and tending to his yard. Whether it was planting flowers, growing vegetables, or simply sitting outside taking in the beauty around him, Doyle felt most at peace under the open sky.

Doyle was also happiest behind the wheel—whether it was his tractor on the farm or one of the many trucks he drove throughout his 32-year career as a professional truck driver. There wasn’t a vehicle with wheels that Doyle couldn’t operate. His expertise and confidence on the road were matched only by his quiet humility and gentle spirit.

In addition to his love of the land and the road, Doyle’s life was centered around his faith. He served for many years as a song leader at his local church, lifting spirits and leading others in worship with a voice that reflected his deep devotion.

Doyle will be remembered for his steady hands, kind heart, and the simple, profound way he loved—through hard work, steadfast faith, and quiet acts of service.
