…Freeze Warning and Frost Advisory in effect for northern 2/3 of the state until 9 am…
After a chilly start this morning, high temperatures will warm from the middle 60s north to middle 70s south this afternoon.
An upper-level disturbance and surface frontal boundary will move through the state on Thursday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move from north to south across Alabama, and a few storms across the northern 2/3 of the state could produce hail and 40-60 mph wind gusts Thursday afternoon into the evening hours.
The tornado threat is extremely low, and widespread severe weather will not occur. Dry conditions are forecast from Friday into at least the early part of next week.
