HOLLY POND, Ala. – Authorities recovered a body from the Mulberry Fork on Friday, March 14, 2025. According to Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick, the location was between County Roads 698 and 688 in the Holly Pond community.
As of press time, the person has not been identified. According to Kilpatrick, “The body has been sent for an autopsy to determine identity and cause of death.”
A spokesman for the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office told The Tribune, “Sheriff Matt Gentry and the entire Cullman County Sheriff’s Office would like to ask you to join us in offering up prayers and support for all the families undoubtedly affected by this tragedy.”
