The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) responded to the report of a shooting in Good Hope on Sunday, March 9, at approximately 11:40 a.m.
Deputies responded and located an individual with gunshot wounds.
The individual was transported to an area hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Deputies and investigators detained a person of interest.
This appears to have been an isolated incident and there is no believed threat to the community.
