CULLMAN, Ala. – The city of Cullman was recently ranked No. 3 on USA Today’s 10Best list of Best Small Town Cultural Scene for 2024, thanks in part to the numerous events that happen downtown. 2nd Fridays is one of those events. The popular summer affair will take place this Friday, June 14, from 5:30-9:30 p.m.

Said Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce President Joey Orr, “We are excited to see our community at 2nd Fridays. Our Chamber members are ready to showcase the businesses and services we have throughout Cullman County. Bring your family and furry friends for a night of food, music, vendors and fun!”

Happening the second Friday of June, July and August, 2nd Fridays is a family friendly event. There will be more than 55 vendors and 22 food trucks, plus a cruise-in car show at Depot Park.

This summer’s series will feature a new Kids’ Zone and stage. As in years past, attendees can expect to see inflatables, a mobile arcade, face painting, ballon artists and a few local EMS trucks for kids to touch and explore.

“There will also be a puppy pageant at 7 p.m. on the main stage,” said Orr.

There is no fee to participate in the “Pooch Pawgeant.”

This Friday’s festivities will kick off at 5:30 p.m. and go until 9:30. in near the Festhalle and Warehouse District in downtown Cullman.
