CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office is searching for stolen dump trucks that were taken from My-Way Transportation on Jan. 30.

Sheriff Matt Gentry said they were taken after midnight.

“The flatbed truck was on video in the area and is believed to be involved,” Gentry said. “Investigators are following up on all leads at this time as it continues to be an active investigation.”

Gentry said the crime is somewhat unique because of the vehicle type.

“By the nature of the crime, the size and scope of the crime, it does appear to be the work of an organized group with knowledge of this type of vehicle,” Gentry said. “For an organized group with the proper connections, the value of these types of vehicles would be more than the average car thefts.”

My-Way is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the vehicles.
