Carol Lynn Russell Fowler, 50, of Bremen, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023
Carol was born on a Naval base in Spain. She graduated from Cold Springs High School in 1991. She worked for State Farm for over 30 years. She had a big heart and loved her family greatly. She was known in her community for creating amazing cakes for any occasions, as a majorette coach who loved her students like her own kids, a Sunday school teacher, and the church Christmas playwright. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Cagle and Bo Russell, her grandparents, TJ and Laura Pate and JW and Audra Russell.
She leaves behind a husband, Neil Fowler, and two sons, Coty and Russell Fowler; siblings, Tina (Jason) Herfurth, Leslie (Clay) Ingram, Dwight (Sarah) Cagle, Jennifer (Kyle) Tucker, and Tiffany (Shanan) Ward; a stepfather, Dwight Cagle, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Corinth Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.
