CULLMAN, Ala. – A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, claimed the life of a Cullman man.
Alabama State Troopers said Maxwell W. Ratcliff, 24, was critically injured when the 2021 Dodge Ram he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.
Troopers said Ratcliff was transported to Cullman Regional Hospital in Cullman, where he succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Passengers Calvin A. McNabb, 23, and Cole D. MacDonald, 24, both of Bremen, were injured and transported to area hospitals.
The crash occurred on County Road 107, approximately 2 miles northwest of Cold Springs, in Cullman County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
