CULLMAN, Ala– Friends of the Public Libraries of Cullman (FPLCC) will be transporting Cullman to old Hollywood, but it’s not as glamorous as it seems. There’s a killer on the loose, and they need your help to find them before it’s too late! FPLCC will be hosting its annual murder mystery dinner fundraiser on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Stone Bridge Farms. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner and show beginning at 6:30 p.m..

Tanya Higdon Allcorn of FPLC has high hopes for the dinner, noting the wild success of last year’s whodunnit-style fundraiser.

“We hope this night is filled with mystery and intrigue while raising money to further literacy in Cullman County,” Allcorn stated, sharing that the main focus of the evening is raising funds for FPLCC’s partnership with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. The Imagination Library provides one free book per month for every child, newborn to five years, whose address is in Cullman County.

“Imagination Library has helped provide over 50,000 books to children in Cullman County since opening in 2021. We can’t wait for our friends to enjoy a wonderful night together while supporting literacy!” Allcorn beamed.

Individual tickets are $100, and tables of 8 with signage are $750. Tickets and tables can be purchased at https://givebutter.com/TSaroS
