Funeral service for David James Tanner, age 90, of Eva, will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023, at Bethel United Methodist Church with Nicky James and Ray Lathem officiating; interment in Bethel United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 4, 2023, at Bethel United Methodist Church.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tanner passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Hanceville Nursing Home. He was born Aug. 8, 1932, to Elbert Tanner and Cora Tanner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Blanche Tanner; daughter-in-law, Kathi Tanner; brother, Jack Graham. and sister, Lillian Haley.
Survivors include his sons, Danny Tanner (Darleen Haddock) and Randy (Betty Jean) Tanner; grandsons, Mike (Becky) Tanner and Jamie Tanner; great-granddaughter, Jericca Bell; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
