CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Homeschool Theater will present “Politically Correct Bedtime Stories” on Saturday, May 20, at 3 p.m. at No Fences Cowboy Church.

According to the group:

Taken from satirist James Finn Garner’s book “Politically Correct Bedtime Stories” and the 19th Judicial Court’s mock trial of “B.B. Wolf vs Curly Pig,” these humorous parodies offer what they believe a politically correct adult would consider a quality children’s story.

The production will cover the three following tales:

The Three Codependent Goats Gruff

Three codependent goats and a troll walk onto a bridge; a battle of wits, brawn and social justice ensues.

Chicken Little

Chicken Little sounds the alarm, the sky is falling and someone needs to pay. Down with the conspiracy!

The Case of B.B. Wolf vs Curly Pig

Victim mentality leads to a legal battle between the Big Bad Wolf and the surviving little pig. You be the jury… Was Curly Pig defending his life and home, or did he want a wolf for dinner?

Tickets are not required; however. donations will be taken at the door.

No Fences Cowboy Church is located at 3544 W Lacon Road, Falkville, AL 35622.

Cullman Homeschool Theater program offers kids a hands-on approach to theater that many homeschool students may not have the opportunity to participate in otherwise. Students work together to act, design props and costumes, and even participate in technical aspects such as sound and lighting.
