Funeral service for Norman L. Wright, age 76, of Baileyton, will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 2023. He will lie in state from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Welcome Baptist Church; interment in Welcome Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Wright passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at his residence. He was born Feb. 27, 1947, in Alabama to Elmer Lee and Esther Mildred Wright.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Sherlene Wright; son, Hal (Melissa) Wright; grandchildren, Ashley (Kyle) Morris, Kody (Katie) Wright, and Ariel (Daniel) Powell; great-grandchildren, Avery Morris, Luke Morris, Kaleb Wright, Kade Wright, Lindy Kate Wright, Wyatt Powell, and Alba-Grace Powell.
