CULLMAN, Ala. – Softball’s postseason will get underway for our local teams this week and it starts with several area tournament matchups Monday and Tuesday. The Cullman Lady Bearcats will be hosting their respective area tournament and everyone else will be on the road. The winner and runner-up at each area tournament will automatically qualify for the Regional Tournament.
Class 1A, Area 14 (Athens Bible)
Addison vs. Meek – Monday, May 1 at Noon
Class 2A, Area 10 (West End)
Holly Pond vs. Cleveland – Monday, May 1 at 4:30 p.m.
Class 2A, Area 12 (Sumiton Christian)
Locust Fork vs. Cold Springs – Wednesday, May 3 at 10 a.m.
Class 3A, Area 13 (J.B. Pennington)
Vinemont vs. Susan Moore – Monday, May 1 at 4 p.m.
Class 4A, Area 13 (Priceville)
West Morgan vs. Hanceville – Tuesday, May 2 at 10 a.m.
Good Hope vs. East Lawrence – Tuesday, May 2 at Noon
Class 5A, Area 12 (Springville)
Springville vs. Fairview – Tuesday, May 2 at Noon
Hayden vs. West Point – Tuesday, May 2 at 2 p.m.
Class 6A, Area 13 (Cullman)
Cullman will play either Mortimer Jordan or Pinson Valley in the Area 13 championship game on Tuesday, May 2 at 4 p.m.
