CULLMAN, Ala. – After capturing the Area 14 title, the Cullman Lady Bearcats were home at Oliver Woodard Stadium for the opening round of the 6A state playoffs Friday night to take on Fort Payne. Unfortunately for the home crowd, the Lady Bearcats fell behind in the first half and couldn’t catch up to the Lady Wildcats in the second half and Cullman’s season came to an end with a 3-0 loss to Fort Payne.
