CULLMAN, Ala. –The Cullman Rotary Club held its 50th annual auction fundraiser Friday, March 10, in Christ Hall at St. John’s Evangelical Church. Bids were called by Joe Hagan.
Items auctioned were donated by local merchants and included gift baskets, patio furniture, firearms and several pieces of art; raffles including $750 cash and a 9mm Glock pistol were also drawn.
Rotarian James “Tack” Tackett made sure to note this fundraiser is the only annual event the club hosts, and many local nonprofits, ministries and scholarship organizations benefit from the proceeds.
