2023 classes begin at The Link

CULLMAN, Ala. – To look at the exterior of the buildings on Ninth Street Southeast, one would never imagine the miraculous transformations that happen inside. The Link of Cullman County specializes in educating and nurturing its friends and neighbors, what other organizations refer to as clients, to empower the community to live healthy, fulfilled lives.  

The classes, which act as a lightning rod to personal changes, are open to the public and are offered free of charge. Held weekly, the programs last for eight weeks, and a certificate of completion is provided at the end of the programs. Upcoming classes beginning in January include: 

Parenting class 

  • Active Parenting classes that focus on building and maintaining healthy relationships 
  • Thursdays at 6 p.m. 
  • First class is on Jan. 12 

Anger Management 

  • Anger Management classes teach participants to recognize and cope with emotions 
  • Mondays at 3 p.m. 
  • First class was Jan. 9 

Fatherhood 

  • Fatherhood classes show fathers the power of their role in their children’s lives 
  • Mondays at 5 p.m. 
  • First class was Jan. 9 

Boundaries 

  • Boundaries class helps participants learn when to say yes and when to say no to empower their lives 
  • Mondays at 4 p.m. 
  • First class was Jan. 9
