Funeral Service for Winona “Bennie” Sue Hale, age 90, of Vinemont, will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, at Flint Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Delbert Freeman officiating, interment in Flint Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hale passed away on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022, at her residence. She was born Aug. 9, 1932, to William Pinkney DeMonia and Mamie DeMonia.
She was preceded in death by her son, Rex Hale; granddaughter, Sally Bice; parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Norman S. Hale; daughters, Vickie (David) Smith, Tammy (Kipp) Merritt, and Lori (Doug) Bice; grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Anderson, Jessica (Pablo) Palomino, Magin (Corey) Smith, Lucius Hale, Gennifer (Jared) Dyer, and Melissa Wells; ten great-grandchildren.
