Carlos Michael “Mickey” Thomas, age 63 of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, at North Alabama Medical Center.
Mickey was born on Dec. 6, 1959, in Red Bay, Alabama.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, from noon until 2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Phil Campbell. Brother Ricky White will officiate.
Mickey is survived by his wife, Leila Pickard; son, Michael Shane Thomas; grandson, James Thomas; sisters, Mary (Ray) Owen, and April Duboise; brother, Velon (Sherry) Brewer; and brother-in-law, Pete Beck.
He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Thomas; mother and stepfather, Gladys and JV Brewer; grandparents, Tom and Flora Box; sisters, Faye Thomas, Wilma Beck, and Peggy Hamm; and brother, Larry Thomas.
