CCSO weekly arrest roundup

CULLMAN, Ala. –  The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) made multiple arrests this week, including:  

Sunday, Sept. 11 

Deputies arrested Cody Lowell Self, 32, of Bremen, on multiple failure to appear warrants, including unlawful possession of dangerous drugs (4 counts), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia (4 counts), public intoxication, public lewdness, DUI, nonsupport, obstructing justice using a false identity and a traffic violation (2 counts).  

Monday, Sept. 12 

Deputies arrested William Jason Hays, 42, of Cullman, on multiple failure to appear warrants, including willful abuse of a child, receiving stolen property and shoplifting.

Deputies responded to a residence in the Battleground community in reference to an individual in violation of a protection order.  

Upon arrival, deputies located Tommy Lee Little, 49, of Vinemont, on the scene. 

Deputies confirmed the active protection order and arrested Little, who was charged with violation of an elder abuse protection order.  

Tuesday, Sept. 13 

CCSO investigators and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant in the Holly Pond community.  

Micah Steven Smith, 39, of Cullman, was located at the residence.  

The search allegedly yielded various narcotics and paraphernalia.  

Smith was arrested and charged with drug trafficking, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana.
