CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) made several arrests this week, including:

Monday, Aug. 15

Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Garden City area. Ronald Lee Mickle, 43, of Hayden, was identified as the driver.

A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly yielded narcotics and paraphernalia.

Mickle was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies responded to a report of trespassing in the Jones Chapel area. Charles Randal Smith, 61, of Cullman, was located in the area.

A subsequent search of his person and his vehicle allegedly yielded narcotics and paraphernalia.

Smith was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  

Wednesday, Aug. 17

Deputies served two probation revocation warrants on Tony Joe Burke, 31, of Hanceville, at the Cullman County Detention Center.

The warrants were for Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA) violations.

Deputies arrested William Chad Robertson, 35, of Cullman, on an outstanding warrant.

He was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center.

Robertson was charged with failure to register as a sex offender.

Deputies served multiple failure to appear warrants on Michael Allen Oliver, 45, of Cullman, at the Cullman County Detention Center.

Oliver has been incarcerated on other charges since Aug. 3.

His FTA warrants include unlawful possession of dangerous drugs (3 counts), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia (2 counts), obstruction of justice- using false ID to avoid arrest (2 counts), illegal possession of prescription medications, assault and sale of prohibited liquors.

Deputies served two probation revocation warrants on Ryan Henry Yarbrough, 45, of Arley, at the Cullman County Detention Center.

The warrants were for criminal mischief and a SORNA violation.
