Multiple drug-related arrests and Grand Jury indictments over last weekend

CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office managed multiple drug-related arrests, including drug trafficking, and several Grand Jury indictments over the weekend. 

On Friday, May 20, Cullman County Sheriff’s Office deputies, along with state probation officers, attempted to serve a probation violation on an individual in the Good Hope area. While on scene, deputies identified Carolyn Ferguson, 54, of Cullman (pictured above). 

Narcotics were found on her person. She was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine

The same day, CCSO deputies arrested William Kyle, 35, of Tanner for multiple Grand Jury Indictments. He was charged with sex offense/sexual abuse (GJ) and sex offense/sexual abuse (GJ).

On Thursday, May 19, CCSO investigators conducted a traffic stop in the Dodge City area. Kenneth Dean Guthrie, 51, of Dora was the driver of the vehicle in question. A search of the vehicle yielded numerous narcotics and paraphernalia. 

He was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and dangerous drugs/trafficking (two counts).

Also on May 19, CCSO deputies responded to a residence in the Bremen area concerning a theft. Cody Ryan Lawrence, 19, of Bremen was identified on scene. While speaking with Lawrence, deputies located narcotics. 

He was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Finally, CCSO deputies responded to a reported traffic accident on I-65 on Thursday. Kelsey Lauren Wright, 27, of Cullman was located on scene, after which, a search of the vehicle yielded narcotics and paraphernalia. 

She was arrested and charged with: dangerous drugs/trafficking, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana in the second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.
