WEST POINT, Ala. – After competing throughout last week’s spring break, the West Point Lady Warriors returned home Monday night to host Minor. West Point handled the Lady Tigers 6-1 to add another game to the win column with area play right around the corner.

Kyli Armstead put on another hat trick performance, scoring three goals and adding a pair of assists. Vanesa Garcia finished with a goal and an assist in the win as well. Hope Lee and Amber Waldrep each scored a goal for the Lady Warriors and Kaedince Cagle and Greysen Yates each added an assist.

Head Coach Rob Whitesell was happy with the way his team played in their return home and wants to see them ride this momentum into area play.

“It was great to get back in action with a full squad after spring break,” Whitesell said. “This win gives us momentum for the home stretch of area contests in front of us.”

The Lady Warriors are scheduled to host Fairview Thursday night.
