A celebration of life service will be held for Edwin Tracy Bozeman at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home, (255 County Road 1435, Cullman, Alabama 35058), on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. The family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. The service will start at 11:00 a.m. and will be officiated by Pastor Raymond Baker.

Tracy Bozeman, 62, passed away peacefully after an extended illness, surrounded by his family, at his Fairview residence on March 12, 2022. Tracy was born in Cullman Hospital on December 23, 1959 and was a lifelong resident of Cullman County.

He is survived by his wife: Teresa, of 33 years and his children: Emily and Isaac Bozeman and Makaliah Copeland.

Tracy’s children were the absolute joy in his life! Extended family includes his sister: Melissa Bozeman Butler (Scott), of Madison; aunt: Stella Bozeman of Cullman; uncle: Edgar Whatley of Alexander City; mother-in-law: Dorothy Miller of Cullman and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Tracy is preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Willie Mae Bozeman and grandparents: Ellis and Lela (Nails) Bozeman, and Will and Essie (Abbott) Woodruff.

At a young age, Tracy began building model cars, airplanes and whatever else he could find to put together!  He loved tinkering and could easily take apart and rebuild just about any motor put before him.

Tracy was a 1978 graduate of Fairview High School, and he also attended Wallace State Community College. Some of his favorite musicians were Alice Cooper, Kiss, Motley Crew, Molly Hatchett, AC/DC, Boston, Little River Band and the Zach Brown Band. Yes, Tracy was diverse in his musical tastes!

After retirement from Pennington Seed, where he worked for 28 years, Tracy spent much of his time outdoors: hunting, fishing, practicing archery, tending his vegetable garden, sharpening tools, whittling, talking with friends and caring for his doggies.

Tracy’s family would like to thank hospice for their continued and unwavering support throughout the duration of his illness and many thanks also to the numerous family and friends who visited, brought food and prayed for the family.

A reception will be held after the service at Welti Presbyterian Church (Fellowship Hall) on 8817 County Road 747, Cullman, Alabama 35055 (drive time is about 10 minutes). Tracy was an avid beach lover and per his request, his ashes will be laid to rest in the Gulf of Mexico during an upcoming trip to the coast by his family.
