WEST POINT, Ala. – With heavy rain moving through the area earlier Monday, the Lady Broncos and Lady Warriors had to move their game to Mike Brown Field at West Point High School Monday night and despite the wet conditions, the Lady Warriors were able to pick up an impressive, 11-1 win. Back-to-back errors by the Lady Broncos allowed Kimbril and Kylee Quinn to cross the plate as that gave West Point a 2-0 lead. Holly Pond got on the scoreboard in the top of the third inning as Madyson Rickman crushed a solo home run over the center field wall to cut the deficit to three at 4-1. The Lady Warriors added another run in the bottom of the fourth as Ella Minck hit a leadoff single and she came around to score on an RBI double by Macayla Wilkins. After keeping the Lady Broncos scoreless in the top of the fifth, West Point looked to end the game in their half of the fifth.
