Funeral service for Walter Reid Gingrich Jr., age 87, of Vinemont, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Faith Baptist Church with Jared Folks officiating, and interment in Center Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service and from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Faith Baptist Church.

Mr. Gingrich passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born August 13, 1934, to Walter Reid Gingrich and Ameila Gingrich.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife: Betty Gingrich; second wife: Daphene Gingrich and daughter: Karen Denise Gingrich.
Survivors include his sons: Frank (Debbie) Gingrich, Bob (Christina) Gingrich and Glenn “Bo” (Annette) Gingrich; grandchildren: Jason (Fawn) Gingrich, Ryan Gingrich, Cindy (Jamie) Davis, Daisey (Ry) Griffin, Bobbie Jo (Adam) Creel, Paige (Ben) Parrish and Tyler (Leanne) Gingrich; great-grandchildren: Bella, Krimson, Austin (Kelley Beth), Hunter (Shelby), Lucy, Maggie, Ace, Reid and Beau; two great-great-grandchildren and two sisters: June and Francis.
