Harold Young, 70, of Double Springs entered into rest on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his home in Haleyville, Alabama surrounded by his family.
Harold was born on October 24, 1951 in Double Springs, Alabama. He loved to go fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle and being with his family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home – Double Springs, where funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Rock Creek Cemetery. Pastor Kirk Cagle will officiate the service.
Harold is survived by his wife: Denise Young; children: Cherry Lacey, April (Craig) Meigs, Amanda Billings, Jeff (Brandy) Young, Ricky (Tanya) Moody Jr. and Jessica (Shane) Hogan; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Otis and Jewel Young; sister: Flora Westmoreland and brother: Jimmy Young.
