Boyd Jay Ganger, Jr., age 39, was born on January 21, 1982 in Troy, Ohio, and lived in Ozark, Alabama until his death on Sunday, August 29, 2021. He was a current member at Harvest Church. From a young child all the way through his life, he had a nickname “Bug”. He was a good man with a kind, warm and giving heart. He was fun loving and goofy, and was always cracking jokes and making fun. He loved his children, and his nieces and nephews adored him.
A celebration of life will be held at Living Faith Pentecostal Church of God (2060 County Road 19, Haleyville, Alabama 35565) on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
He is survived by his wife: Donna Ganger; seven children: Fern Ganger, Donnavan Ganger, Jaxen Ganger, Kyyeleigh Ganger, Nataleigh Ganger, Austin Mays and Alaina Mays; father: Boyd Jay Ganger, Sr.; grandparents: Richard and Nina Shoe; siblings: Lisa (Phillip) Lucas, Jennifer (Jeremiah) Desiderio and Travis (Chelsea) Ganger and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Kathy Ganger; son: Jaycob Ganger and paternal grandparents: John and Loretta
