Obituary: Charles Paul Brenner, III

Funeral service for Charles Paul Brenner, III, 89, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2021 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ryan’s Creek Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Brandon Stripling officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Brenner went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 30, 2021 at his residence.  He was born July 24, 1932 to Charles Paul Brenner II and Alma Moore Brenner.  He was a long-time member and deacon of Ryan’s Creek Baptist Church. He and his wife Jenny Ann established the children’s church at Ryan’s Creek Baptist Church many years ago.   He was a Gideon, a Red Cross Relief Volunteer, worked with the West Cullman Baptist Association and was an avid Mississippi State fan. He served his country in the United States Navy.   Paul was a godly man with a wonderful sense of humor.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Jenny Ann Brenner; son: Charles ‘Chuck’ Paul Brenner, IV and a brother: Jimmy Brenner.  

Survivors include his sons: David Brenner and Andy Brenner; daughters: Paula (Keith) Cox and Donna (David) Avery; brother: Benny (Barbara) Brenner; grandchildren: Charles Paul (Noele) Brenner V, Elizabeth Brenner, Joshua Brenner, Heidi (Matt) Mueller, Kacee Haney, Jenny (Taylor) Robinson, Austin (Chelsea) Avery, Aaron (Kimalea) Avery, Anna Avery, Tracie (Brian) White and Whitney Brenner; great-grandchildren: Charles “Charlie” Paul Brenner VI, Scarlett Brenner, Delilah Brenner, Roman Brenner, Isabel Mueller, Savahanna Morgan, Allie Brenner, Brodie Brenner, Tripp Robinson, Cross Robinson and Greyson Avery and a host of family and friends.
