Funeral Service for Horace “Bud” Calvin Oden , age 73, of Falkville, will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with interment in Dorsey Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Oden passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at his residence. He was born April 6, 1948, in Birmingham, Alabama to Horace E. and Virginia Mae Gunter.
He was preceded in death by his father; son: Charles Keith Oden; stepfather: Thomas Gunter; brother: Tommy Gunter and sisters: Pat Oden and Sheri Anderson.
Survivors include his daughter: Anna Oden; son: Matthew Oden; four grandchildren; mother: Virginia Mae Gunter; sisters: Donna (Porter) Bryant, Charlotte (Marlin) Bailey, Mary (Galin) McClendon, Sandy Oden, Diane (Perry) Lloyd and Penny McDonald; brothers: Jimmy Long, Mike Gunter, George Gunter and Mike Oden and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
