CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Police on Friday evening recovered a stolen car following a traffic stop on Logan Avenue Southwest on the city’s west side. The vehicle was reported stolen in Hartselle.
Patrol Officer Zane Pounders stopped the vehicle and, when he ran the license plate through the National Criminal Information Center, the report of the theft came back. A search of the car also turned up drug paraphernalia. The driver was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A female passenger in the vehicle was not charged and was released.
