PREP BASEBALL: Cullman’s Brennen Norton named Collegiate Baseball High School All-American

CULLMAN, Ala. – The accolades continue to roll in for Cullman standout Brennen Norton. The senior Bearcat shortstop and Jacksonville State signee earned first team All-State honors, a spot on this year’s Super All-State Team, was named the 6A Player of the Year and now he can add All-American to his list of accomplishments. Norton was one of just 21 infielders in the country selected to this year’s first team by the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.

Norton finished his senior season at Cullman with a .496 batting average, .554 on-base percentage, .970 slugging percentage, 1.525 OPS, 12 home runs, 22 doubles, 48 RBIs, 67 total hits and just 10 strikeouts.
