Memorial service for James ‘JD’ Turner, age 84, of Cullman, will be at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Richie Thompson officiating.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Turner passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Cullman Regional. He was born Sunday, September 13, 1936 to Jesse Edward and Susie Turner. He was an avid bowler and loved his family and bowling family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a son: James Douglas Turner; a grandson: Dakota Parker and a sister: Susan Alley.
Survivors include his wife: Zelda Turner; children: Debi (James) Summersell, Kevin (Shannon) Parker and Marie (Doug) Brazier; grandchildren: Hannah (Mark) Boltz, Shane (Emily) Summersell, Scott Busby, Anna Busby and Matthew Brazier; great-grandchildren: Trenton Hall, Addison Busby, Kenzie Summersell, Christian Summersell and Marshall Summersell; sister: Claudette Murphree and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
